MX series: Junction boxes for the toughest conditions
The junction boxes of the MX series were designed for use under the toughest conditions and are characterised by a robust aluminium empty housing. They provide the installation with optimal protection in mechanical engineering, ports and shipbuilding, agricultural technology and automation technology, among other applications. The MX series withstands extremely high and low temperatures, as well as large temperature differences, high snow loads in the industrial environment, rock falls or vandalism on roads, railways or in tunnels. Furthermore, the robust junction boxes offer perfect EMC protection and are ideally secured against the entry of dust and water in line with protection rating IP 66.

High-quality surfaces
The aluminium is of course UV-resistant and halogen-free. The cover seal is made from polyurethane. The aluminium housings are chrome 3-coated and are delivered with a cover including stainless steel screws, a seal and 2 or 4 earthing screws. The chrome 3 surface provides good contact when using metal fittings and can easily be painted or powder-coated.
