Protection and stability for cables

The OBO counter-troughs for mounting on clamp clips are available as plastic or metal variants, in strip galvanised/aluminium or stainless steel versions. They protect cables while ensuring high stability and a secure hold. Especially practical: The universal counter-trough combines the functions of all previous plastic counter-troughs into one. As its name reveals, it can be used universally. It is suitable for all clamp clips, as well as mounting, anchor and profile rails from the OBO portfolio. When mounted on a clamp clip, it is simply pushed onto one of the clamp clip’s limbs. With a total of 15 variants, we have the right counter-trough for every slot width. The universal counter-trough offers optimum support on the rail at any time and is, thanks to its weatherproof material, also suitable for use in outdoor areas.

Lean warehousing, simple retroinstallation

The universal applications also reduce the need for warehousing, as instead of many different counter-troughs, only one type need be kept, in order to cover all the applications with the different base shapes and clamping dimensions. During the actual installation, the universal counter-trough also offers considerable simplification, as the counter-trough is only inserted from above just before the clamp is tightened. This means that more space is available when installing the clamp clip – which simplifies installation in areas that are difficult to access. Uncomplicated retroinstallation is possible without completely dismantling the clamp clip.
