Tracking and monitoring

Recognising potential savings

At OBO, we always strive to identify potential savings so that we can conserve resources wherever possible.

We are continuously tracking and monitoring savings in paper, water and energy. Tracking also helps us to recognise any potential savings in oil waste and pollutants. This enables us to effectively reduce our environmental impact.

Wherever we recognise savings potential, we translate these into appropriate measures. Some examples are:

  • LED lighting in the logistics and production areas
  • Heat recovery
  • Using a power ventilation system in our metal competence centre at our main site in Menden
