- 510 kg load-bearing capacity (point loads) → with a load capacity of 510 kg or higher, the square or round terrazzo lined body must be used.
Decoupled design for long-lasting floors
The innovative system mechanically separates the top and bottom parts of the cassette. The movements of the screed are absorbed without generating any tension. The result: Permanently dimensionally stable floors. Modern terrazzo floorings from well-known manufacturers, such as Ardex/Pandomo, complement the cassette solution perfectly thanks to the material’s high bending tensile strength.
Effective prevention of transmission of footfall sound
The decoupling of the system offers yet another benefit, as it effectively prevents the transmission of footfall sound.
By the way, even adjacent rooms without the cassette for jointless floors can be implemented completely noise-decoupled using the screed-covered duct system from OBO.
No joints, no compromises
Unlike classic floor boxes, the system does not require an expansion joint. The cassette and frame “float” in the screed, enabling a totally homogenous surface.
